To me, buildings affect how people live, learn, and work. I’ve always wanted to learn how to make buildings stand and look beautiful. I’m now going into my 4th year of Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto. My hobbies include gardening and playing music. A fun fact about me is that I can reach ten keys on a piano.

Ever since I started learning to sew, I fell in love with creating clothes. Currently, I am going into my 4th year of Fashion Design at Ryerson University, and my interests have evolved to creating innovative, sustainable and functional clothing using technological and scientific approaches. I’ve always been a very creative person and knew from a young age that I wanted to go into a design field. I’m now going into my 4th year of Photography and Integrated Digital at Ryerson University. From a young age, I’ve loved making just about everything, from woodworking and leathercraft to 3D printing and cooking. This passion only accelerated while I was studying civil engineering in McGill University, when I started a YouTube channel to share my projects! I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Engineering. I’ve always had a penchant for extreme sports, and I’m currently getting into skateboarding!

From a young age, I’ve loved learning about wildlife, from bees and earthworms in my backyard to endangered plants around the world. My interest in living things led me to studying Biology and Psychology at Queen’s University. I just graduated this year and will be entering teacher’s college this fall. I’ve always been so fascinated by the brain and I’m very passionate about mental health. Now, I’m going into my 4th year of Psychology (BSc) at Queen’s University. Hi! My name is Roisin and I am currently going into my 2nd year of civil engineering at the University of Waterloo. I’ve always loved designing and doing hands-on projects, especially ones that have real life applications. I am a giant ski enthusiast and a ballerina who hates stretching. A fun fact about me is that I am obsessed with the pokemon ditto because it can turn into anything it wants to!

As a youngling, I grew up in an inventive environment where I enjoyed tinkering with all things robotics. This interest led me on the path to study Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, going onto my second year. I love playing basketball and making origami. I am going into my 4th year of Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering (iBioMed) at McMaster University and I love that STEM allows me to utilize my creativity and problem-solving skills to think outside the box to find new, possible achievements. Although these structures rarely stood, and lacked any structural integrity to begin with, this has led me to attend the University of Waterloo for Civil Engineering. Now, I’m going into my 3rd year at McGill University and am currently studying Microbiology and Immunology. During my spare time, I like to spend time outside, chase sunsets and do photography. A fun fact about me is that I collect sand and love drinking green tea.
