Embark on an unforgettable summer journey with our Summer Specialty Program designed for students completing Grade 4 to Grade 8! Immerse them into a world of creativity and innovation with half- or full-day options in Coding and Robotics & Battle Bots, and Woodworking & Tiny Homes. Our specialty program will provide the ultimate summer experience where young minds can explore, create, and grow!

Woodworking 101

Learn basic woodworking skills in a safe, exploration-based environment! Students will learn basic safety practices, hand tools, construction techniques, and finishing methods.

Completing Grade 4 to Grade 8

One-week Course
Half Day: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Tiny Homes

Be the architect of your own dream tiny home! Students will learn how to create architectural scale models using 3D design software, circuit building, furniture design, and 3D printing.

Completing Grade 4 to Grade 8

One-week Course
Half Day: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Intro to Woodworking + Tiny Homes

Craft your dream tiny home and get a taste of woodworking! Learn safety, tools, and construction techniques for hands-on creation in a safe environment.

Completing Grade 4 to Grade 8

Full Day: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Course OutcomeS

Intro to Woodworking

New to Woodworking? Join us in a fun, exploration-based woodworking environment to safely learn hand and power tool techniques, build structures, and finish projects with precision.

Over the course of several projects, students will gain skills, accumulate experience and build confidence using various tools such as a belt sander, scroll saw, drill press, hand saw, miter box and more!

Tiny Homes

Students will learn how to create architectural scale models using our Tiny Home kit and 3D design software. 

 Students will see their designs come to life, learning how to draft and sketch floor plans and construct their modular tiny home. They will also tackle furniture design while assembling 1:30 scale IKEA furniture, wiring LED lamps, and utilizing 3D printing customized furniture.

Coding & Robotics

Dive deep into the world of coding and robotics by transitioning to more difficult coding structures and building more sophisticated electronics projects with LEDs and motors.

Completing Grade 4 to Grade 8

One-week Course
Half Day: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Battle Bots

Design and build a programmable remote-controlled tank powerful enough to battle other robots! Students will learn how to assemble and 3D print accessories to customize how their robot battles.

Completing Grade 4 to Grade 8

One-week Course
Half Day: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Coding & Robotics + Battle Bots

Immerse yourself in advanced coding & robotics and a programmable tank for epic battles! Customize your tank and unleash your robot warrior skills in the showdown of innovation!

Full Day: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Course Outcomes

Coding & Robotics

In Coding & Robotics, students will learn how to build more sophisticated machines powered by the Micro:Bit microcomputer and the MakeCode program. They will begin to learn how to translate block code into Python and use it to program more advanced robotics extensions like ultrasonic distance sensors, servo motors, LEDs, and more!

Battle Bots

Battle Bots teaches the fundamentals of electricity & circuits, programming, and fabrication, serving as an introduction to how these three maker skills can be integrated to build a fun and complex project. Our battle bots are powered by a microcontroller and custom 3D-printed parts. Activities will be modified to student age and ability.

Meal Plans

Planning meals can be tiring, but it doesn’t have to be. We’ve partnered up with Kid’s Kitchen to make lunchtime easy. Just choose a meal plan option after you register for program and we’ll take care of the rest for you. We have regular, vegetarian, and halal meal plan options available! 

*Meal Plans will only be available to full-day registrations.
