End of June (June 22nd, 26th, 27th)
July- August 2023 (must be available for at least one two-week session)
Monday – Friday
8:45am – 4:15pm

The STEAM Project is partnered with a non-profit organization, Inventor Academy, to offer volunteer hours for Summer 2024. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work alongside counsellors and instructors in leading a group of campers through fun programs and activities. At The STEAM Project, volunteers can develop and hone their skills in leadership, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution, just to name a few. A passion for inspiring youth is a must, and an interest in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) and/or outdoor activities is a huge asset! 

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Enjoys working with children
• Is team-oriented and collaborative
• Is flexible and able to adapt to different scenarios as needed
• Gets excited about learning new things
• Will maintain excellent rapport with other volunteers, staff, and campers

Through this program, volunteers will gain:

1. Volunteer hours – Students can earn 160+ volunteer hours to use towards high school requirements
2. Experience – Develop real skills and experience to include in your resume
3. Mentorship – Develop skills in a safe environment under the mentorship of our leaders and mentors
