About the Freshkids
As our youngest group of thinkers at the STEAM Project, Freshkids enjoy experiences that let their imaginations run wild. Our high staff to camper ratio ensures they have a high level of supervision, attention, and instruction as campers are introduced to basic skills and hands-on projects. When hiring staff for this age group, patient, nurturing individuals are specifically chosen to encourage young campers to collaborate and think as a group, understand/respect the thoughts and ideas of others, be proud of their abilities and accomplishments, and overall, just have fun.

Welcome/ Cabin Time
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Start the day with a camp-wide meeting and welcome message from our counsellors. Campers will then be dismissed into their groups

Learn a new concept and review the ones from the day before. It’s always a good idea to refresh our memory!

Break Time
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Time to recharge with a snack and some physical activity. We spend our break time playing games outdoors with friends and counsellors

Now that we have all that extra energy out of our system, it’s time to start our second activity where we will be learning and improving our skills with various tools and technologies

Planning meals can be tiring, but it doesn’t have to be. We’ve partnered up with Kid’s Kitchen to make lunchtime easy. Just choose a meal plan option and we’ll take care of the rest for you. Plans start from $10 per day.
Do you have a busy schedule? Start and/or end your camper’s day with fun and friendly staff in our before- and after-care programs. Campers will choose from a variety of activities and games to play. Before-care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and after-care is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
