Who Are We?

Founded by three Science teachers, The STEAM Project is a collaborative approach to learning that allows both children and teens to enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics without the limitations of teaching or learning in a traditionally structured school setting. The Steam Project Team works to offer a deeper exploration of the interaction between science, technology, and design for youth by making new and emerging technology accessible to young minds.

What We Do

Jay Wengle

“When I was younger, I spent most of my time tinkering with computers and electronics. I took apart most of my toys to see how they worked and redesigned them.” - Jay Wengle, MSc, BEd

Administrative Director

Ann Hu

“I strongly believe in the motivated use and understanding of technology, as technology as a whole is so much more than it’s practical purpose.” - Ann Hu, Bsc (Hons), BEd

Operations Director

Huron Chu

"What I love about TSP is the opportunity to have real innovation arise, and facilitate the spark the children need to get them there.”  - Huron Chu, BSc (Hons), BEd
