We are looking for an organized and highly motivated Resource Coordinator to join our Summer 2026 camp team. As part of our vibrant summer camp community, the Resource Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of camp programming by managing the production, inventory, and distribution of materials. From sourcing supplies to communicating with Program Managers across our various sites, this role supports the behind-the-scenes magic that brings hands-on projects and activities to life. Based at our Makerspace (561 Edward Avenue, Richmond Hill, ON), the Resource Coordinator will need reliable access to a vehicle to travel to multiple camp sites, ensuring each location is fully stocked and prepared. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
High level of proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate professionally with staff across multiple camp sites.
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
Full weekday availability from late May to August.
Prior experience with budget coordination and placing orders for supplies and equipment.
Experience in a summer camp setting, especially in a logistics or coordination role.
Assist with coordinating the purchasing of supplies for camp programs to ensure timely availability of materials.
Maintain and track inventory of camp supplies, tools, and equipment.
Oversee the distribution of materials and tools to all camp sites, ensuring efficient delivery.
Communicate regularly with Program Managers and Directors to support material purchasing and distribution across various locations.
Transport supplies to different camp sites, collaborating with Directors and Program Managers to ensure the smooth running of all activities.
Access to a personal device (i.e. laptop) to complete job responsibilities
Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C (required prior to the start of camp)
Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (required prior to the start of camp)
This job may be funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
