We are looking for organized and dynamic Program Managers to join our Leadership Team for Summer Camp 2026. In this senior role, you will lead and mentor a team of instructors to deliver engaging, educational, and hands-on programming for children. You will oversee the planning and execution of hands-on science, technology, and engineering projects that promote skill development and inspire creativity. Activities may include coding, robotics, 2D/3D design, woodworking, and more. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the staff are well-prepared to lead lessons, projects and materials are ready in advance, and that daily operations run smoothly. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our Ideal Candidate:
Completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field such as engineering, science, or education.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in a camp or recreational setting.
Hands-on experience with skills such as digital fabrication, woodworking, robotics, coding, 2D/3D design, or electronics.
At least 1 year of experience facilitating programs for children, emphasizing hands-on engagement and collaborative activities.
Full weekday availability from May to August.
A background or education in teaching, recreation, early childhood education, science and technology
Act as a positive role model, providing leadership to instructors and being an active member of our Leadership Team.
Lead training and evaluations for instructors to ensure high-quality lesson delivery.
Ensure that educational programming provides meaningful skill development and fun, hands-on experiences for children.
Oversee the smooth operation of the camp day by creating and maintaining schedules, while ensuring activities are engaging.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure materials and equipment are requested and ordered in advance of each activity, guaranteeing timely preparation and availability.
Lead staff meetings, promoting open communication and a collaborative working environment.
Serve as a liaison between the Leadership Team and instructors to ensure all programming needs are met.
Access to a personal device (i.e. laptop) to complete job responsibilities
Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle.
Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C (required prior to the start of camp)
Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (required prior to the start of camp)
This job may be funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
