About this Course

Come join us on a Mars Mission and learn all about circuit-building and programming in a beginner-friendly environment! Students use hand tools and circuits to build an electronically-controlled Mars Habitat with a rotating solar panel and airlock doors.

Course Fee

$349 plus tax (includes $50 material fee)

Course Outcomes

Throughout the course, students will work with hand tools and small circuits to build projects designed around the Micro:bit system, a beginner-friendly circuit board that can be programmed for all sorts of uses. Projects will include: a portable game controller, a rocket launchpad, and an electronically-controlled Mars Habitat. Activities will be modified to student age and ability.
