About the
Position:

Pre-Camp Training Dates: June 21, 25, 26

Camp Dates: June 30 – August 22 (8:50 AM – 4:00 PM)

We are looking for an organized and friendly Photographer/Videographer to join our Summer 2025 camp team. As a Photographer/Videographer, you will capture the magic of camp through photos and videos, immersing yourself in the action of activities and interacting with staff and children to make them feel comfortable. You will organize your shots for use in marketing materials throughout the year and contribute to our social media platforms by sharing captivating content. If you are passionate about photography and videography and love working in a dynamic, camp environment, this role is for you!

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience in photography and videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Is passionate about capturing moments and has an eye for composition and design
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, making staff and children feel at ease in front of the camera
  • Has experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
  • Is adaptable, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Possesses excellent time management skills and can work independently
  • Is open to receiving feedback and making necessary edits to improve content

Requirements

Has experience in photography and videography with a strong portfolio

Owns and maintains personal photography equipment

Is proficient with photo and video editing software (i.e., Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other editing tools)

Has an excellent eye for color, composition, and visual storytelling

Possesses strong written communication skills, particularly for digital content

Has full weekday availability in July and August and select training days in June

Considered an Asset:

Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting

Previous experience managing a business social media account

Role & Responsibilities

Coordinate with the leadership team across camp locations to plan times to capture content

Film and photograph moments throughout the day, focusing on staff and children engaged in activities and building STEAM projects

Produce creative marketing videos, end-of-session slideshows, and social media content

Develop content for social media platforms and promotional materials

Capture cabin photos and other requested content

Organize and manage media files

Edit photos and videos, ensuring the final product is bright, positive, and aligned with camp branding
