Pre-Camp Dates (Non Co-op): June 20 – June 25

Camp Dates: June 29 – August 21

We are looking for an organized and friendly Photographer/Videographer to join our Summer 2026 camp team. As a Photographer/Videographer, you will capture the magic of camp through photos and videos, immersing yourself in the action of activities and interacting with staff and children to make them feel comfortable. You will organize your shots for use in marketing materials throughout the year and contribute to our social media platforms by sharing captivating content. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you are passionate about photography and videography and love working in a dynamic, camp environment, this role is for you!

Our Ideal Candidate:

Requirements

Has experience in photography and videography with a strong portfolio.

Owns and maintains professional photography and videography equipment.

Is proficient with photo and video editing software (i.e., Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other editing tools).

Has an excellent eye for color, composition, and visual storytelling.

Possesses strong written communication skills, particularly for digital content.

Full weekday availability from July to August, as well as the pre-camp season.

Considered an Asset:

Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting.

Previous experience managing a business social media account.

Role & Responsibilities

Coordinate with the leadership team across camp locations to plan times to capture content.

Film and photograph moments throughout the day, focusing on staff and children engaged in activities and building STEAM projects.

Produce creative marketing videos, end-of-session slideshows, and social media content.

Develop content for social media platforms and promotional materials.

Capture cabin photos and other requested content.

Organize and manage media files, ensuring all content is properly catalogued, organized, and backed up within the company hard drive.

Edit photos and videos, ensuring the final product is bright, positive, and aligned with camp branding.

Project Deliverables

Activity photos capturing daily camp experiences.

Staff and camper testimonial videos.

STEAM and Sports Adventure summer camp promotional videos.

End-of-session highlight videos.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.

Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (required prior to the start of camp)

This job may be funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
