We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Social Media Assistant to join our creative team in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In this role, you will create visually engaging graphics for digital and print media, assist in social media content planning, and contribute to branding efforts. This role requires creativity, a keen eye for detail, proficiency in design software, and the ability to manage multiple projects across digital and print platforms. If you have a passion for design and a keen understanding of social media trends, this position is for you!
Our Ideal Candidate:
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience in graphic design with a portfolio of relevant work
Strong creative problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience managing business social media accounts
Experience with photography and videography, with a strong portfolio, and owning and maintaining personal photography/videography equipment
Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
Create visually compelling graphics to promote educational courses, programs, and special events.
Design web graphics, email marketing visuals, and branding materials.
Work with the Marketing team to integrate designs across digital and print platforms.
Develop marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media assets.
Plan and schedule graphics and short captions within the camp’s internal social media calendar.
Promotional graphics and videos for educational programs and special events
Social media content, including short-form videos and visual campaigns
Staff and student testimonial videos
Digital and print marketing materials, such as brochures and flyers
Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (required prior to the start of camp)
This job may be funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
