Now you can experience our hands-on STEAM programming at the Markham Museum! We bring our expert instructors and all the materials—your students bring the curiosity and creativity. Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a unique and inspiring museum setting.
Our Summer Camp puts hands-on learning at the center of every day. Over each two-week session, campers build real projects using tools and technology while developing practical skills they can be proud of. Along the way, they collaborate, form meaningful friendships, and grow through shared experiences.

Mini Makers explore hands-on activities that spark creativity and build foundational skills. With strong support from nurturing instructors, campers learn through doing, collaborate with others, and grow in confidence—all while having fun.
At this age, campers benefit from exploring and experimenting—even when things don’t go as planned. Through hands-on experiences, they learn from mistakes, build confidence, and grow.
With our Sophomore campers, there is a strong focus on collaboration and working towards shared goals, while also allowing them the much-needed opportunity to exercise their independence, leadership, and original thinking.
Unfortunately, our Markham Museum program is only available for groups from JK to Grade 4. However, we offer a wide range of camps and activities for kids in Grades 5–9 to keep them engaged, active, and learning all summer long.
At our Sports Adventure Camp, campers explore sports, outdoor education, and environmental learning through hands-on experiences, while building skills in archery, tent building, and survival, and developing teamwork, confidence, and a strong connection to nature.
Join us at Lauremont Upper School for our STEAM Summer Camp designed for campers in Grades 5–8! Just 8 minutes from Century Private School, this program offers an engaging experience where students explore, create, and build skills through hands-on learning.
Join us for our Summer Specialty Courses for students completing Grades 4–8! Jump into creativity and innovation through Woodworking, Chocolate, Battle Bots & Tiny Homes. Our specialty courses offer the ultimate experience where young minds can explore, create, and grow!

June 29 to July 10
All aboard the innovation express! Get ready to design, build, and engineer machines in motion. Using gears, motors, circuits, and mechanisms, campers might build motorized cars, lifting machines, spinning contraptions, and chain-reaction projects.
July 13 to July 24
Experiment with bubbling reactions, colour-changing chemistry, hidden magic in living things, and much more! From mixing and testing materials to creating mini biomes, campers will investigate chemistry, biology, and physics in a fun and hands-on way!
July 27 to Aug. 7
Get ready to tinker! Imagine, design, and build your own inventions using hands-on tools and everyday materials. Campers will create clever gadgets and useful inventions, bringing their ideas to life through playful prototypes while testing and improving their designs.
Aug. 10 to Aug. 21
Explore the extremes of the deep sea and outer space! Through hands-on engineering challenges, campers will design and build submarines, rockets, rovers, and other exploratory machines while investigating pressure, density, forces, and motion in oceans and beyond.
Get your kids off their screens on during their time off with engaging hands-on activities and outdoor fun to keep their minds active! Sign your child up for one of our School Break Camps (March Break, Winter Break & PA Days), where with experiments and design challenges, we fuel inquisitive minds and spark their creativity!
Upcoming: June 5th PA DAY!
Check out our courses at our Makerspace where we offer everything from Woodworking, Robotics, 3D printing and much much more!

A two-week session gives campers the time they need to truly settle in, build meaningful connections with both staff and peers, and fully engage with activities. With more time, they can practice new skills, build confidence, and see real improvement—leading to stronger outcomes and a more rewarding overall experience.
Our two-week format is designed to foster deeper engagement, stronger skill development, and happier, more connected campers.
We also understand that summer can be a busy time for families. For added flexibility, we offer half sessions in the form of one-week camps. Please contact us for more information on our single-week options.
Our camp is hands-on first. Campers spend the day building, testing, designing, and creating with real materials. Screens are used minimally and purposefully when needed for a specific activity — not as the main way kids spend the day.
Safety is built into the program: a 1:4 staff ratio, clear routines, age-appropriate materials, and close supervision at every step.
Yes — campers must be able to use the washroom independently so the day can run smoothly and stay focused on hands-on projects.
Yes. Many projects are “open-ended,” meaning one child may build a simple version while another adds extra features. We support different skill levels while keeping groups socially aligned by birth year.
