$399 + tax (includes $74 material fee)
Students will learn how to create architectural scale models using 3D design software (SketchUp) and bring the design to life with our Tiny Home kit. They will also tackle furniture design while assembling 1:12 scale IKEA furniture, electricity and 3D printing while putting together their 3D-printed mini LED lamps, and textiles and fashion with our fabric weaving kit. Activities will be modified to student age and ability.
* Please note that depending on the complexity of the 3D SketchUp model that students design, they may take longer to complete the final project build. At the end of the program, students will have learned all the skills needed, and get to bring home their project and materials kit to continue finishing and decorating their model at home.
For our in-class programs, we typically have a maximum of 10 students in one class. Plus, we maintain a 1:5 instructor-to-student ratio to ensure students receive adequate supervision and ample one-on-one time with instructors.
We offer trial classes for new families who are curious about our programs. Please contact us at office@thesteamproject.ca for more details.
For INVENTOR series, Coding & Robotics, and Art Tech courses, students are able to join partway through the season, as there will be new skills and projects featured throughout the course. Partial enrollments will have pro-rated course fees.
For other courses (Tiny Homes, Woodworking, Battle Bots), students will not be able to join partway through a season due to the progression of the skills learned. We recommend joining our mailing list to be kept up to date on when our new season begins.
If you have questions or clarification, please feel free to contact us directly at office@thesteamproject.ca
