Turn physical motion into pure electric power! Build a battery-free, hand-cranked flashlight from scratch and discover the engineering secrets of generators and gears.

What We Built

Makers constructed a self-powered flashlight by wiring an LED to a hand-cranked generator. Using laser-cut, 3D printed, and electronic components, they assembled a sturdy housing to align the gears and protect the electronics.
