Elementary Make-A-Thon

The Dates for the 2019 Elementary Make-A-Thon have been set!

Enthusiastic, creative and innovative students are encouraged to form a team of 4 and compete in the "Design a car challenge" which will incorporate all of the STEAM disciplines.

The team of 4 will work together to design and build a model car that is fast and travels in a straight path.

Disclaimer: Students do not need prior experience to participate in this event. A fresh perspective is encouraged at The STEAM Project.

Event Dates:

May 5, 2019

Juniors (Grades 3 to 5): 10:30am to 12:30pm

Seniors (Grades 6 to 8): 2pm to 5pm

Mother-Daughter Make-A-Thon (Grades 4 - 8)

Who:

For Grades 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 (4 students per team)

*Schools may send multiple teams. The maximum number of teams per event is 20. Schools within York Region are eligible to compete.
